Everything you need to know before — and after — inviting Ai Bot V2 to your server.
The Administrator flag is requested so the bot works out of the box on any server layout — it can read channels, send messages, manage messages for moderation, and reply in threads without per-channel setup. It is a convenience default, not a hard requirement.
Yes. Open Server Settings → Roles → Ai Bot V2 and disable Administrator, then enable only what you need: View Channels, Send Messages, Read Message History, Embed Links, Attach Files, Add Reactions, and Manage Messages if you want moderation. The bot will keep working in any channel where its role can see and send.
Read & Send Messages: required for any reply. Read Message History: needed to maintain short conversation context per channel. Embed Links / Attach Files: lets the bot send rich answers. Manage Messages: used by owner-only moderation commands (!blacklist, !toggle). Use Slash Commands & Mentions: enables modern Discord interactions.
Only the minimum needed to function: a short rolling conversation history per channel (cleared with +reset), an owner-managed blacklist of user IDs, and timestamped log lines for abuse detection. No DMs are scraped, no message content is sold, no analytics are shipped to third parties beyond the Groq inference call.
Yes. Ai Bot V2 auto-detects the language of each +ask and replies in that same language. No configuration needed.
Option A (recommended): open Server Settings → Members, find Ai Bot V2, click the three dots and select Kick. Option B: right-click the bot in the member list and choose Kick. Option C: revoke its role only — Server Settings → Roles → Ai Bot V2 → Delete role, which strips all access while keeping the member entry. Re-invite anytime from the invite page.
Yes. Ping matteoraider or therealdev_8 on the support server, or open an issue. The bot has a built-in cooldown and anti-abuse layer, but feedback helps us tune it.
